H126 British Troop Withdrawal.JPG
A Crossley Tender being loaded onto a transport vessel at North Wall, Dublin. Originally developed for the Royal Flying Corps, these, and other models based on the same chassis, had become standard British military vehicles during the First World War. Over 400 Crossley Tenders were transferred to the new Irish National Army in early 1922. (Part of the Independent Newspapers Ireland/NLI Collection)
